His travels over the last 40 years have seen him tour extensively across Australia, USA and annually to New Zealand.

Stephen's choice is songs enables him to entertain all age groups and includes such artists as Elton John, The Beatles, Billy Joel, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles, The Beach Boys, and even Dean Martin, Jim Reeves, Engelbert Humperdinck, Elvis Presley and many of the Rock and Roll legends, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, Fats Domino, Chuck Berry. Also Country greats like Lee Kernaghan, Kenny Rogers, John Denver, Slim Dusty, Allan Jackson, and many many more.

For an evening of dance, laughs and a good time Stephen's presentation is all wired for sound with the latest wireless technology enabling him the freedom to perform and therefore he is up to any challenge. From a full on Rock and Roll dance night to a Dinner and Show (The John Denver Show, or Kenny Rogers and the Country Legends show) Stephen will entertain you throughout the night.

He has been a guest artist at many Country Music, Folk and Rock Festivals both in Australia and Overseas.

He has toured in USA and regularly in New Zealand.

He is a songwriter of world class and has enjoyed success in Europe, USA, New Zealand and has far off success in such places as Taiwan,UK, Netherlands and Russia.

Stephen has recently been receiving industry accolades from around Europe and the rest of the world with his song writing and performance skills and recently featured in a radio special called "The Life of Stephen R Cheney" on European Radio based out of Poland and relayed to hundreds of stations around the world on the internet.

His latest Recording project, a series called The Tribute Series, Vol 1, Vol 2 and Vol 3, sees some of his original songs mixed with his covers of some of the great Country Classics. 

He has also recorded a gospel album.

His DVD features many songs of requests enhanced with footage of a recent tour of the North Island of New Zealand. 

Future DVD projects will include featuring the South Island of New Zealand and various trips and tours around Australia.

Stephen also is well respected for the THANK GOD I’M A COUNTRY BOY,

A Tribute to JOHN DENVER. This show a must see ideally suited for any DInner

and Show format and can be adapted for either a small intimate venue or a large

indoor or outdoor screening. A CD of the songs from the show is available.

This show he has performed to standing ovations around Australia and Overseas.

This presentation is highlighted by the use of WIDE SCREEN PROJECTION

where the songs of John Denver are presented while the listener is also

entertained by the backing film containing footage of the many mountains and

seascapes that John Denver loved to sing and write about.

This is very visually stunning to watch and exciting to listen to.

Stephen's experience is such that he has also hosted POKER MACHINE PROMOTIONS and GAME SHOWS at various clubs. 

Stephen has showed great support as he organized, compered and performed in many Fundraising shows for various charities and is a willing performer for many worthwhile charities in Australia and  Overseas.
